Yuji believes strongly that newer styles of wrestling are superior. His main offense revolves around a highly aggressive, high flying style. He also incorporates as many “innovative” holds as he can. He is also a competent mat worker, and is capable of working it in to his game plan if the situation calls for it. He is nowhere near opposed to breaking the rules, and subscribes to the school of thought that says “if the ref didn’t see it, it wasn’t illegal”.
Yuji Shibata grew up in the flashing lights of Tokyo city. There, he grew in to a street smart, egotistical lad with a taste for “BIG”. This led him in to the world of wrestling with a mean streak and level of determination only seen in men and women who were meant to be great.
He spent time in some small time promotions, wrestling his way through them with relative ease. After this lost it’s flavor. Yuji took his trade to the UK, where he jumped from promotion to promotion as a free agent. Even dabbling in some more extreme endeavors.
After finding little success. Yuji made the decision to return to Japan.
